Happy New Year!

So far, it's been great.  I have a tooth that needs to be pulled.  It was aching so bad it made me cry.  Then it abscessed.  Then of course, it couldn't be pulled until the infection was gone.  Then I got heart burn, from taking the antibiotics, as painful as a heart attack [OK that is an exaggeration, but it hurt like hell].  I cannot swallow any of the soft food I'm eating.  Now I have the flu.

Post-Thanksgiving round-up!

So, Thanksgiving dinner was a complete success.  I cooked, and everything turned out perfect.  The family was happy with dinner, and no one fought during the day.  That alone is enough to make any Thanksgiving a success.

I hope Christmas comes off as easy as this did.

The menu was:

Ham
Yams and apple casserole
Squash
Baked Potatoes
Salad
Homemade Rolls

Desserts:
Apple & Cranberry Pie
Pumpkin/Cheese Case pie
Egg Nog Bread with Glaze.

I made everything from scratch too!  Yay me!!!
